Firefly has been appointed to launch Zattoo in the UK after a competitive pitch.
Zattoo is launching this Spring, streaming all five UK terrestrial channels live TV through the PC. Zattoo offers aggregated content so users can watch all of their favourite channels through just one player.
Zattoo has had huge success in mainland Europe with 2 million subscribers so far, and Firefly is on board to help replicate that in the UK.
Our pre-launch seeding focuses on the blogging community and early adopters who are willing to try Betas, with the follow up phase seeing a launch to the mass-market where we’ll use new and traditional media as well as going direct to consumer.
Firefly will also be supporting a trade programme to help Zattoo sign-up advertisers and other broadcasters to the platform.
