Firefly has been appointed by Cloudmark, one of the leaders in protection against internet spam, virus and phishing attacks, to support its growth in the UK and Germany, as well as other European countries.
Cloudmark’s solutions operate in real-time with systems scanning over 5,000 messages per second. Existing customers include more than 100 of the world's largest ISPs, mobile operators and social networks, currently protecting more than 600 million internet users.
The growing problems of phishing on the internet (fake sites designed to extract personal information or commit fraud) and unsolicited messages on mobiles and in social networks unfortunately mean that this is an expanding market.
After a competitive pitch, Firefly will start immediately with ongoing PR programmes in the UK and Germany, handled by Firefly's London and Munich offices respectively, plus additional projects across other European countries.
The programme encompasses media relations, analyst relations and speaker platforms targeting audiences within the ISP, mobile telecoms operator and social networks sectors.
